How can I book a room?

Will I be asked to pay a deposit? If so, how much?

Yes, We do ask that you pay a deposit which will guarantee your booking which will be about 20% of the total amount of your stay. You will receive confirmation of your booking on receipt of deposit.

What time can I arrive at the hotel?

The rooms are accessible from 12:00 on your arrival day to 10:00 on departure. On arrival guests can also arrive in the morning and go straight to the beach leaving their baggage at the Hotel reception.

Is the reception always open?

The reception is open from 7:00 to 24:00, outside of these times, our night porter is available.

What are meal times?

The buffet breakfast is served from 07:30 to 09:45; lunch starts at 12:30 until 13:30 and dinner is from 19:30 to 20:30.

I have chosen full-board but I would like the option of staying on the beach and skipping lunch!

A packed lunch can be provided for the guest instead of seated lunch booked beforehand at the reception.

What times are the rooms cleaned?

The rooms are cleaned daily from 09:00 to 2 pm.

Is the car-park attended?

Our car-park located beside the hotel is monitored by CCTV. We also have some places in another nearby (around 300 m away) multi-storey garage. The parking place is included in the total rates of your stay.

How far is the beach from the hotel and what is included in the offer?

Our private beach is 20 metres from the hotel and for every room there is beach allocation with umbrella and two sun-beds included in the price of your stay. The hotel also has two changing booths. From June to September there is also entertainment for adults and children.

Are pets allowed?

Yes but only small domestic pets. We only ask an extra € 5.00 a day for cleaning. They are not allowed in the dining-room or on the beach.

Families and children

Do I have to bring a cot and high-chair?

Hotel Désirée has a cot available (0-3 years) and a high-chair available free for weekly stays from the 24/4 to the 5/7 and from 31/8to the 15/9. At other times of the year they cost € 16.00 a day.

My child is very young, how can I heat her/his milk?

We are always available to heat bottles at the bar, even at night.

My child is starting on solid food do you have any help for meals?

Our kitchen prepares vegetable broths and soups, with or without salt; you can give baby-foods to staff or extra foodstuffs and the kitchen will prepare the food according to your requirements.

I would like to feed my child first so we can then eat in our own time, is that possible?

Yes, the kitchen opens at 12:00 and at 7 pm to allow parents to feed their child without having to wait.

Can the air-conditioning be adjusted?

Yes, from your room you can choose the temperature and programme times to turn it on.
